The Volvo XC60 is a mid-size SUV from Swedish automaker Volvo Cars. It was first introduced as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show in January 2007 and production began in the summer of 2008. It is part of the Volvo XC-series, which includes the Volvo XC90, Volvo XC70 and the Volvo XC40. It is a five-passenger luxury crossover SUV that combines performance and styling. It has a range of engines available, including both turbo-diesel and turbocharged gasoline engines. It also features a range of features designed to help drivers stay safe, such as City Safety, a system that can detect an imminent crash and automatically brake in order to avoid it.
