The Volvo V70 is a mid-sized, 5-door station wagon that was produced and sold by Volvo Cars from 1998-2016. The first generation V70 was based on the Volvo P80 platform and was introduced in 1997 as the third-generation Volvo 850. It had a higher roof and cargo capacity than the 850, and its estate body style allowed for more storage space than the sedan body style of the 850. The V70 was available in a range of engines, including gasoline and diesel engines.
