The Volkswagen Phaeton was a luxurious Volkswagen model that was produced from 2002 to 2016. It was a full-size/luxury sedan that was sold in Europe, Mexico, China, and Russia. It was Volkswagen's flagship model and featured a variety of features, such as its 4Motion four-wheel drive system, adjustable air suspension, and upscale interior. The Phaeton's V6 and V8 engines provided excellent performance, even if it didn't have the power of some of its luxury competitors. Despite its high quality, the Phaeton was largely a commercial failure and discontinued in 2016.
