The Subaru XV Crosstrek is a crossover SUV (sport utility vehicle) made by the Japanese automaker Subaru. It is based on the Subaru Impreza platform and is offered in two generations: the first-generation (2012-2016) and the second-generation (2017-present). The XV Crosstrek is powered by a 2.0-liter boxer engine and is available with either a manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT).
