The Subaru Baja is a sport utility coupe that was manufactured by Subaru and marketed between the 2002 and 2006 model years. Based on the Subaru Outback, the Baja combined the handling and cargo capacity of an SUV with the open-bed versatility of a pickup truck. It was equipped with a 2.5-liter Boxer engine, AWD, and a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The Baja was discontinued in 2006 due to slow sales.
