Saab 900 is a compact luxury car that was produced by the Swedish automaker Saab from 1978 until 1998. It was the first Saab to be introduced in the U.S. market, and the first model to be built in the newly-created Saab-Valmet plant in Uusikaupunki, Finland. The 900 was available in hatchback, four-door sedan, and convertible body styles, and featured a turbocharged engine, rally-inspired performance capabilities, and a range of innovative features.
