The Saab 9-4X is a compact luxury crossover SUV that was manufactured by the Swedish automaker Saab between 2011 and 2012. The 9-4X was based on the GM Theta Premium platform, and was offered with either a 3.0L V6 (265 horsepower) or a 2.8L Turbocharged V6 (300 horsepower). The 9-4X was offered in either FWD or AWD drivetrains, with a six-speed automatic transmission. The 9-4X featured a unique design, with a hatchback-like rear window and an aggressive grille, as well as a luxurious interior with leather seating and a touchscreen navigation system. Unfortunately, the 9-4X was short-lived, due to poor sales and Saab's bankruptcy. The 9-4X was the last Saab model to be built before the company was acquired by Spyker Cars in 2012.
