The Porsche Carrera 2 Coupe is a two-door, rear-wheel-drive coupé produced by German sports car manufacturer Porsche between 1998 and 2004. It was the successor to the Porsche 993 and was superseded by the Porsche 997. The Carrera 2 was based on the same 911 platform as the base 911 model and featured a 3.6-litre water-cooled flat-six engine, which produced up to 325 bhp. In addition to its coupé body style, the Carrera 2 was also offered in a cabriolet form and a limited number of 'Carrera 4S' models.
