The Mercury Tracer is a sedan and station wagon model of automobile manufactured and marketed by the Mercury division of Ford Motor Company from 1986 to 1999. The Mercury Tracer was closely related to the Ford Escort and shared a similar body style and design. The Tracer was available in two- and four-door sedan, five-door station wagon, and three-door hatchback body styles. It was sold in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Middle East.
