The Mercury Sable is a mid-size sedan that was produced by Mercury from 1986 to 2005. It replaced the Mercury Marquis and was sold alongside the Mercury Grand Marquis, until the Grand Marquis was discontinued in 2011. In its final year of production, the Sable was available in GS and LS trim levels, both of which featured a 3.0L V6 engine.
