The Mercury Milan Hybrid FWD is a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) that was produced and sold by the Ford Motor Company from 2006 to 2011. It is powered by a 2.3-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine, electric motor, and nickel-metal hydride battery pack. Like most HEVs, the Milan Hybrid also uses regenerative braking to store energy during deceleration. It is front-wheel drive and has a power output of up to 177 horsepower. The Milan Hybrid was the first hybrid vehicle to be offered in the mid-size luxury car market.
