Mercury Mariner 4WD is a small SUV manufactured by Ford Motor Company from 2005 to 2011. It was designed as a replacement for the Mercury Mountaineer and shared its platform with the Ford Escape. It was available in both front-wheel and four-wheel drive configurations, with a 3.0L V6 or 2.3L I4 engine. The Mercury Mariner featured a number of interior comfort and convenience features, including air conditioning, power windows, power locks, and keyless entry. It also featured a full-time all-wheel drive system, allowing it to travel over rough terrain, though it wasn't offered with an off-road suspension package. After its discontinuation in 2011, it was replaced by the Lincoln MKX.
