The Mercury Mariner 2WD is a compact SUV that was manufactured by the Ford Motor Company, under the Mercury brand, for the 2005 to 2011 model years. It shared its platform with the Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute, and came with a choice of four-cylinder and V6 engines. It was offered in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations.
