The Mercury Mariner is a compact crossover SUV that was produced as part of the Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company from 2005 to 2011. The Mariner shared its chassis with the Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, and Mazda-sourced Mercury model. The Mariner was offered in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive and came standard with a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine. Larger engines, such as a 3.0-liter V6 and a 4.0-liter V6, were also available.
