The Mercedes-Benz CL500 is a two-door luxury coupe that was first produced by the German automaker in 1999. It was part of the fourth generation of CL-Class and replaced the CL420. The CL500 came equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine, 5-speed automatic transmission, power adjustable seating, climate control, and an electronically adjustable suspension. The CL500 was available in rear-wheel drive, or an all-wheel drive version. The CL500 was sold until the fifth generation of the CL-Class was introduced in 2006.
