The McLaren MP4-12C Coupe is a mid-engined sports car from McLaren Automotive, a division of McLaren Group. It was the first production car completely designed and built by McLaren since the McLaren F1, which ended production in 1998. The MP4-12C was produced from 2011 to 2014, and was succeeded by the McLaren 650S. It included a 3.8L twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 592 horsepower and 443 ft-lb of torque, and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The MP4-12C featured a carbon fiber chassis, active aerodynamics and an adjustable suspension system. It had a top speed of 205 mph and could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
