The Mazda Mazdaspeed Protege is a high-performance version of the Mazda Protege, which was a compact sedan manufactured by Mazda from 1990 to 2003. The Mazdaspeed Protege was first introduced in 2003 with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 212 horsepower, as well as a host of performance upgrades such as larger brakes, firmer suspension, and visual enhancements. It was discontinued in 2003.
