The Jaguar XKR is a high-performance grand touring sports car manufactured by British carmaker Jaguar. It was launched in 1996 as the successor to the XJS and was produced until 2014. The XKR was initially powered by a supercharged 4.0L V8 engine, producing outputs of up to 370 bhp and 420 lb-ft of torque. Later models used a 5.0L V8 engine with outputs of up to 510 bhp and 461 lb-ft of torque. The XKR was offered in both coupé and convertible body styles, as well as with both manual and automatic transmissions. The XKR was also equipped with numerous advanced technologies, including an active front differential to sharpen handling and stability.
