The Jaguar S-Type 3.0 Litre is a mid-size executive car that was produced by the British automaker Jaguar between 1999 and 2008. It was first shown at the 1998 Birmingham Motor Show, and followed the Jaguar XJ6 of the previous generation. The S-Type was designed to compete with the BMW 5 Series, as well as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. It was powered by a 3.0 litre V6 engine, with the option of a 4.2 litre V8 available. The S-Type featured a selection of luxury features, including full leather trim and a touch screen infotainment system.
