The GMC Sierra 2500HD is a full-size heavy-duty pickup truck that is sold by General Motors and manufactured by the GMC division. It is a successor to the GMC C/K pickup truck line, and was unveiled in 1998. The Sierra 2500HD provides higher payload and towing capacity than the lighter-duty Sierra 1500. The Sierra 2500HD is offered in a variety of body styles, powertrains and trim levels, including the Sierra Denali, which was introduced in 2001.
