The GMC Jimmy 4WD is a four-wheel drive compact SUV that was produced by General Motors from 1983 to 2005. It was a more rugged option in the GMC lineup than its cousins, the S-10 Blazer and S-15 Jimmy. The Jimmy 4WD came with a plethora of options, including V6 and V8 engines, manual transmissions, a variety of trim levels and optional accessories. The last model year, 2005, saw the introduction of GM's Advanced Dual-Stage Airbag System.
