GMC Jimmy is a mid-sized SUV (sport utility vehicle) that was manufactured by General Motors from 1982 to 2005. It was sold under the brand names of GMC and Chevrolet and is related to the Chevrolet Blazer, the Oldsmobile Bravada, and the Isuzu Trooper. It was available in both two- and four-door models and featured a removable hardtop. It had a front engine configuration, rear-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive, and was available with a wide variety of engines. The fifth generation of the Jimmy was also the first to offer a third-row seating option.
