The Ford Mustang SVT Cobra, also known as the “Cobra” or “SVT Cobra”, is a high performance variant of the Ford Mustang, built by Ford's Special Vehicle Team from 1993 to 2004. The SVT Cobra was a limited-production version of the Mustang, designed to compete with other high-performance muscle cars such as the Chevrolet Camaro Z28, designed for performance and handling. The SVT Cobra featured a high-revving V8 engine, improved suspension and braking components, and a unique body kit. The SVT Cobra was produced in three generations: 1993-1995, 1996-1998, and 1999-2004.
