The Ford Excursion is a heavy-duty, extended-length sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was built by Ford Motor Company from 2000 to 2005. Based on the Ford Super Duty pickup truck platform, the Excursion was the longest and heaviest SUV ever produced, as well as the first full-size SUV introduced by Ford. It was Superseded by the Ford Expedition EL/Max.
