The Ford Crown Victoria is a full-size sedan that was produced by Ford Motor Company in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from 1992 to 2011. It was the largest sedan in Ford's North American lineup, and was designed as a police car and taxi vehicle. The Crown Victoria was the last car produced by Ford to use the traditional rear-wheel-drive layout of the Panther platform, which it shared with the Mercury Grand Marquis and the Lincoln Town Car. The final Ford Crown Victoria rolled off the assembly line on September 15, 2011.
