The Ferrari F50 is a limited edition mid-engined range-topping sports car made by Ferrari. It was introduced in 1995 to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary and was produced until 1997. Built to commemorate the Scuderia's 75th anniversary, the F50 was the successor to the highly successful F40. It featured a formula one-derived 4.7-liter V12 engine, which was able to produce 520 horsepower and was mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The F50 also featured advanced aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.34, carbon fiber body panels and a semi-automatic transmission.
