The Chrysler Prowler is a retro-styled production car manufactured and marketed by Chrysler from 1997 to 2002. It was the company's first mid-engined production car. Based on the 1993-95 concept car of the same name, the Prowler shared its powertrain and much of its styling with the Plymouth Prowler produced from 1997 to 2002. The Prowler was offered in a single generation in a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and was noted for its unique styling, featuring a long front hood and distinct tear-drop shaped bodywork, along with its minimalist interior.
