Buick Encore FWD is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by General Motors under the Buick brand. It is the smallest crossover SUV offered by Buick, with a wheelbase of 100.6 in (2,555 mm) and an overall length of 168.4 in (4,279 mm). The Encore FWD was first introduced in 2013 as a 2014 model and has been in production ever since. It is powered by a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine which produces 138 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. It is offered with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Encore has a maximum towing capacity of 1,000 lbs (455 kg).
