The BMW Z8 is an aluminum-bodied sports car produced by German automaker BMW from 1999 to 2002. It was designed by Henrik Fisker and inspired by the 1957 BMW 507. It featured a 4.9 L (4941 cc) V8 engine with 400 hp. The cars had an unusual design with a long hood, a short rear, and an aluminum body. The Z8 was extremely popular and sold for over $130,000.
