The BMW Z4 Roadster is a two-seater convertible sports car produced by German car manufacturer BMW. It was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 2002, and has been produced in three generations: the E85 (2002–2008), E89 (2009–2016), and G29 (2019–present). The Z4 has a 3.0-litre straight-six engine, with a choice of manual or automatic transmission. It also incorporates a retractable hardtop roof, which can be lowered and stowed in a special compartment behind the seats. The Z4 has been popular for its thrilling driving dynamics and sharp handling.
