The BMW i3 BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) is an all-electric car produced by BMW. It was launched in 2013 and is powered by a lithium ion battery and has a range of up to 153 miles. The i3 BEV can be recharged from any standard electric outlet, or from BMW's dedicated fast-charging stations. The car features a lightweight body constructed from carbon fiber reinforced plastic, and is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, including lane departure warning and collision warning.
