The BMW 525i is a mid-size sedan produced by BMW from 1988-2003. It is powered by a 2.5L inline 6-cylinder engine, and was based on the E34 platform. The BMW 525i was offered in both manual and automatic transmission and features a minimalist design with a modern, luxurious interior. In 2001, the 525i received a facelift, and in 2003, the 525i was discontinued and replaced by the BMW 530i.
