The BMW 5 Series is a luxury midsize car produced by German automaker BMW since 1972. The 5 Series is BMW's second best-selling model after the 3 Series and is currently in its seventh generation. It is available in four-door sedan, five-door wagon, and Gran Turismo five-door hatchback body styles. The 5 Series is powered by either a gasoline or diesel engine and is equipped with rear- or all-wheel-drive powertrains. The 5 Series is known for its excellent handling and performance, as well as its advanced safety and infotainment systems.
