The Acura SLX was a mid-size luxurious SUV produced between 1996 and 1999. It was based on the Isuzu Trooper and was the top of the line model in the Acura lineup during that period. It was available with either a 3.2L V6 engine or a 3.5L V6 engine and had features such as anti-lock brakes, driver and passenger side airbags, an audio system, and a power sunroof. The SLX was discontinued in 1999 as Acura replaced it with the more upmarket MDX.
