The Suzuki TL 1000 is a high-performance superbike motorcycle that was manufactured by Suzuki from 1997 to 2003, when it was discontinued due to poor sales. It is powered by a 996 cc V-twin engine and was designed as an update to the earlier Suzuki TL1000S. It has a six-speed transmission and produces a claimed peak power output of 118 bhp (88 kW) at 9,500 rpm and peak torque of 79 lb/ft (107 Nm) at 8,000 rpm. The TL 1000 has a dry weight of 192 kg (423 lb) and a power-to-weight ratio of 0.611 hp/lb.
