The MTT Y2K motorcycle, also known as the “Y2K Turbine Superbike,” was designed by Ted McIntyre and built by Marine Turbine Technologies in 1999. It was the first production motorcycle to use a turbine engine. It had a 260-horsepower Rolls Royce-Allison 250-C18 turboshaft engine, a top speed of over 200 miles per hour, and weighed approximately 500 pounds. The motorcycle was sold primarily to collectors and cost around $175,000.
