The Kawasaki BJ is a light-weight, single-cylinder motorcycle that was produced by Kawasaki from 1983 to 1986. It was marketed primarily as a commuter bike which offered good fuel economy and reliability. The BJ featured a 123cc air-cooled engine, and was offered in four variants: the BJ125, BJ250A, BJ250EX, and BJ250S. The BJ250S was the most powerful of the group, with a maximum power output of 17 HP. The BJ was discontinued in 1986, due to the introduction of the larger and more powerful Kawasaki KLR250.
