The Honda CX 500 Turbo was a limited production model motorcycle sold by Honda in the early 1980s. It was the first Japanese production turbocharged bike engine, featuring a liquid-cooled, 499 cc V-twin motorcycle engine with a single Akai turbocharger and air-cooled oil cooler. The bike was capable of producing a maximum power output of 75 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 53 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm, allowing for a top speed of up to 137 mph. The CX 500 Turbo was only sold in Japan and the United States, making it a rare and sought after collector's item.
