The Ducati 999 is a sportbike motorcycle produced by Ducati from 2003 to 2006. It is the successor to the Ducati 998, and is powered by a 998cc, liquid-cooled, L-twin engine. The 999 was highly acclaimed, winning Superbike of the Year awards in both 2004 and 2005. The 999 was replaced by the Ducati 1098 in 2007.
