The Buell X1 is an American street motorcycle produced by Buell Motorcycle Company. It was a middleweight naked bike manufactured between 2000 and 2002, and was the first road bike to feature the Buell Thunderstorm engine. The X1 was designed to provide the rider with the power of a larger engine, while still delivering good fuel economy. It is powered by a 1203 cc (73.4 cubic inch) V-twin engine producing around 100 horsepower and 81 pound-feet of torque. It was equipped with an array of modern features, such as a six-speed gearbox, fuel injection, a lightweight frame and Pro-Link single shock suspension. The X1 was considered to be an excellent all-around motorcycle, with a capable suspension and good handling.
