The BMW R 1150 is a German motorcycle produced by BMW Motorrad from 1999 to 2005. It is a large-displacement, touring-oriented motorcycle powered by an air-cooled, 1,130 cc flat-twin engine. It is noted for its robust build, smooth power delivery, and comfortable long-distance riding capabilities. It was replaced by the BMW R 1200 GS in 2005.
