The BMW R 1100 motorcycle is a touring and sport touring motorcycle that was manufactured between 1994 and 2001. It was powered by an air-cooled, flat-twin engine that produced a maximum output of 80 horsepower and 94 Nm of torque. The bike featured a shaft drive and a six-speed constant mesh transmission. The R 1100 featured a range of innovative technologies such as a Telelever front suspension, heated handgrips and BMW's Duo-Lever Paralever swingarm. It also had an optional anti-lock braking system, adjustable windscreen and an adjustable seat height.
